Fan site for Canadian beauty and singer Avril Lavigne
Avril Lavigne isn’t just a musician. Like other young artists of the new millennium, she’s expanded her range and has appeared in other forms of media. Movies are something lots of the hot music artists of today have tried out, and hot little Avril isn’t about to let guys like Ludacris or Jessica Simpson outdo her in that department.
Currently, she’s appeared in three films, although she’s in one of them just as a voice talent. That movie just happens to be the star-studded 2006 animated film “Over The Hedge” though, where she plays the cute rodent called Heather.
To balance that out, her other films look to be more substantial in nature, with Richard Linklater’s adaptation of “Fast Food Nation” coming the same year, then the crime thriller “The Flock” with Richard Gere landing in 2007. Of course, as a musical artist, she’s had numerous movie soundtracks to her credit.
On TV, it’s mostly been appearances as herself in various talk shows and awards shows, with a sexy and hilarious appearance in a Mad TV safe sex skit as a standout performance among those. Check it out on You Tube if you can!
